Who was William Frawley?
William Clement Frawley was an American stage entertainer, screen and television actor. Although Frawley acted in over 100 films, he is best known for his television work, playing landlord Fred Mertz in the long-running situation comedy I Love Lucy and "Bub" in another TV comedy series, My Three Sons.
