Who was William Henry Punchard?
Partner of Edwin Clark in Clark, Punchard Company, the railwaty contractorwhich built raiways all over the world but took both Clark and Punchard to bankruptcy in 1879. Bought Poulett Lodge in Twickenham in 1870, which he sold in 1879, presumably following his bamkruptcy.
