Who was Witold Bieńkowski?

Witold Bieńkowski, code-name Wencki, was a Polish politician, publicist and during World War II, leader of the Catholic underground group, “Front for a Reborn Poland”, member of the Provisional Committee of “Żegota” and the permanent representative Delegate of the Polish Government-in-Exile.

Deputy to the Polish parliament from 1947–1952.
