Who was Witold Zawadowski?

Witold Eugeniusz Zawadowski was a Polish radiologist, one of the pioneer of the Polish radiology. He was a brother of Jan Wacław.

Zawadowski was a professor of the University of Warsaw, professor of the Medical University of Warsaw, member of the Polish Academy of Learning, member of the Polish Academy of Sciences and national radiology consultant. Since 1930 he was an editor of Polski Przegląd Radiologiczny.

His main area of study was roentgen-diagnostics of the chest organs.
