Who was Yu Kil-chun?

Yu Kil-chun was a Korean reformist thinker, writer, politician, and independence activist of Korea's late Joseon Dynasty. He was also the first modern Hangeul researcher and the author of the book of travel impressions Seoyu gyeonmun. He was cherished as the "ideal Korean patriot" by the independent activist Ahn Chang-ho.
