Who is Zanjoe Marudo?

Zanjoe Acuesta Marudo is a Filipino actor and model. He was former housemate of Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition and became one of the Big Four along with Bianca Gonzalez, John Prats, and the big winner Keanna Reeves.

Marudo was born in Tanauan City, Batangas. His father, Zosimo Marudo hails from Batangas while his mother, Rosanna Acuesta is a Calauagenian. He has five siblings and he is the third child. From elementary school until high school, he played in the basketball varsity team. His brother influenced him to play basketball. He was in the San Sebastian College-Staglets Team, playing in the NCAA. He joined a modeling contest, Body Shots, and won the First Runner-up title. He joined The Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition, winning fourth Place with actors John Prats, Bianca Gonzalez and Keana Reeves. He signed his acting contract with ABS-CBN network.

Marudo became a model after high school. He appeared in the Bench Fever fashion show. In Philippine Cosmopolitan Magazine, Marudo is one of the 10 Centerfold men in the "Cosmopolitan 69 Bachelors and 10 Centerfolds" supplement.

Marudo was with the ABS-CBN comedy series Aalog-Alog with Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition housemates John Prats, Keanna Reeves, and Pinoy Big Brother runner-up Jason Gainza and in the fantasy series Super Inggo as Super Islaw. He is set to act in Florinda with Maricel Soriano. Marudo is a member of ABS-CBN's Star Magic.
