Who is Abhishek Pathak?

Born on 1st July 1987 in Punjab, Abhishek Pathak started his film carrier at the age of 17, the first film being "Omkara" as Executive Producer. He believes in making films and only films & tries to carve out a niche for himself marked by professional excellence while actively contributing to development of Indian Film Industry. A young competent film maker with ever growing passion for making film enjoys the challenges of filmmaking freedom. Abhishek has a style of working with the theme of a story that is at once revealing and dynamic. This kind of skill comes from the extensive knowledge of cinema and art that runs in his family, with his father, Kumar Mangat being a renowned Indian films producer. Abhishek went to New York Film Academy to study filmmaking. Before making Boond, Abhishek worked as an Assistant Director for The Awakening (2006), No Smoking (2007), I'm Afraid I Am Hitler (2008) & One Two Three (2008). Given to the fact that Abhishek has remarkable direction skills and knowledge of all aspects of film production and editing, he also played a pivotal role in the making of the film Coffee Shop, as Producer, Cinematographer, and Assistant Editor. He also contributed in the Sound, Editorial and Camera departments.
