Adriano Boncompagni

Who is Adriano Boncompagni?
Adriano Boncompagni earned his Italian degree in Historical Geography at the University of Florence and a Ph.D. in Population Geography at the University of Western Australia. In Australia he lectured Italian Studies at the University of Notre Dame Australia. Since his return to Italy, Adriano has mainly lectured courses in Contemporary Italy at a number of American study abroad programs. Adriano has published in internationally accredited journals of both history and geography. His research interests include a study of American travelers' perception of Italy and a case-study project on 19th cent. Central Italian rural society. His current interests are concentrated on the social and anthropological changes that have affected Italy during the 20th century.
