Who is Akily?

Chekere Music Publisher and Label, INC founded by Lourdes Aquino, Akily is a composer, pianist, guitarist and vocalist. With more than 15 years studying different styles of music such as: Latin Folk, Latin Pop Dance, reggae, rock and roll. She has formed a band which has infused these different styles creating their own style based on Afro-Cuban music from their originating roots, Cuba .

Now located in Florida, The Magic City of Miami. She has participated and won several awards in Local & International Competitions. Her 2014 hit “Summer to me” was nominated #10 Song of the year from the Top 100 International Songs. Her talents have been recognized by local Radio Station Zeta 92.3,not only her music, as well her jingles and her more recently runner up songwriter award competition song of the year,for a high play song Le invocare a dios in 2018.
