Albert Hsiao, MD, PhD, received the John Kirkpatrick Young Investigator Award for the best scientific research paper presented by a resident or fellow for his article, “Volumetric Flow Assessment in Congenital Heart Disease with 4D Flow MRI," developed in collaboration with Marcus Alley, PhD; Payam Massaband, MD; Robert J. Herfkens, MD; Frandics P. Chan, MD, PhD; and Dr. Shreyas Vasanawala. Dr. Hsiao's research promises to translate quickly into the clinical environment for imaging children with cardiovascular disease.
