Who is Alewyn Burger?
Alewyn Burger is a South African banker and former Chief Operating Officer of Standard Bank. He has a PhD in mathematics from the University of South Africa and is an alumnus of Harvard's Business School's Advanced Management Program.
He semi-retired from his position at Standard Bank in 2011 and currently acts as an advisor for PwC and SAP. He also teaches as a visiting professor at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
