Who is Alex Brycen Williams?

Alex Brycen Williams is an independent artist from Kentwood, Louisiana who currently resides in St. Francisville, Louisiana. At the age of 12, Alex started voice lessons with vocal coach Bob Westbrook, who taught the likes of Olivia Holt, Justin Timberlake, and Lucy Hale. At the age of 16, Alex auditioned to sing the national anthem for LSU sporting events. He was selected and picked to perform at two sporting events and remembers this experience fondly. After discontinuing lessons with Mr. Westbrook Alex was in artist development with Suncoast records in Albany, Louisiana for three years. Once this contract was up the decision was made to not renew the contract. His final move in vocal development was pursuing a vocal performance degree in college.

Later Alex would drop out of this degree path to pursue other interests. This is when he really developed his own musical vision. Drawing inspiration from the folk revival of the ’70s Alex tries to create a poetic approach to lyricism. He still credits many of his favorite artists from his adolescence such as Josh Groban and Michael Bublé. Now at age 25, Alex hopes to create his own path and contribute to the folk/singer-songwriter genre. He continues to seek out within himself and his peer's how to develop as an artist.
