Alex Poythress is an American college basketball player for the University of Kentucky. He plays power forward, and was one of the top high school basketball players in the class of 2012. Despite being rated as a possible lottery pick for the 2013 NBA Draft, Poythress decided to return to Kentucky for his sophomore year.
