Who was Alf George?
Alfred Thomas "Alf" George was an Australian rules footballer who played for Melbourne and Essendon in the Victorian Football League. George was the captain of Melbourne for the 1912 and 1913 seasons. George also served in the Australian Imperial Force in World War I.
