Allie Edward Stakes Stephens, usually known as A. E. S. Stephens, was a Democrat who served as the 27th Lieutenant Governor of Virginia from 1952 to 1962.
Stephens, from Isle of Wight County, Virginia, was elected lieutenant governor on November 4, 1952, to fill the unexpired term of Lewis Preston Collins II, who had died in office. He took office on December 2, 1952, and served until January 13, 1962.
