Who is Amar Talwar?
'Amarendra Singh TalwarAmar Talwar' Mis an artist and Bollywood actor. He appeared in the historical T.V. Series named Shaanti in which he played the role of Raj 'G.J.' Singh.
Born in a Khatri sikh fIamily from Amritsar. Father Rajinendra was a minor IAS officer,who amassed money during the construction of Chandigarh, he was educated at the Lawrence School, Sanawar, along with his brother Rana Talwar, Gurvinendra Singh Talwar.
Before becoming an actor he worked as a photojournalist. He is originally from Chandigarh but moved to Delhi for work. He joined BBC and also worked with some other channels while he also continued to work as a stage artist. He became famous in Shaanti as Raj G.J. Singh. His famous role was with his friend Amitabh Bachhan in the movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam. In this movie, he portrayed Rani Mukharjee's father. He also appeared in the following movies: Has remained single due to accident of genital mutilation at an early age and adopted a son.
