Who is Amit Bando?

Amit Bando is Executive Director of the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation.Formally established in 2009, IPEEC is a voluntary intergovernmental entitiy with sixteen members including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, European Union, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, United Kingdom, United States. As the "voice" of IPEEC, Mr. Bando facilitated dialogue on energy efficiency policies at the highest level with forums such as the Clean Energy Ministerial, Major Economies Forum, and the United Nations. He works with the private sector on clean technology finance issues and with organizations such as the International Energy Agency and the Global Green Growth Institute on program design and implementation issues.
