Who is Andrei Lerque?
Andrei Lerque is an Ecuadorian archer. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, July 16, 1961. He specializes in recurve target archery. In November 2009, he won the Silver medal in the Bolivarian Games, where he lost by 2 points to Venezuelan archer Victor Palacio.
In 2003, Lerque and Romina Quiroga were the only two Ecuadorian archers who participated in the Pan American Games.
It was only in 2000 when Ecuador put together its first archery team, and Andrei Lerque, with his recurve bow was part of it.
