Who was Andrew Corbet?
Sir Andrew Corbet was an English politician of Shropshire landed gentry background who sat in the House of Commons at various times between 1624 and 1629. A Puritan sympathiser, he at first supported the government but became an increasingly vocal opponent of Charles I's policies and ministers.
