André Jean René Lacrampe is the Roman Catholic Archbishop Emeritus of Besançon.
He was born on 17 December 1941 in Agos-Vidalos, a commune in the Hautes-Pyrénées department in south-western France. He was ordained as a priest in 1967, Bishop in 1983 and Archbishop in 2003.
He was made an Officer of the Legion of Honour in 2009, and Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques in 2011.
