Who is Andy Hay?

Andy Hay is a former rugby league player and current Head Coach of the Featherstone Rovers. Hay played for Leeds from the substitute bench in their 1998 Super League Grand Final loss to Wigan. Andy Hay was an England international and played at the 2000 Rugby League World Cup Scoring 2 tries in consecutive games against Russia & Fiji respectively.

Andy Hay was a Substitute in Castleford' 33-2 victory over Wigan in the 1993–94 Regal Trophy final at Headingley, Leeds on Saturday 22 January 1994.

He played for Sheffield Eagles, Castleford, Leeds, Widnes and Doncaster periodically. He is currently Assistant Coach at Hull. Formally assistant coach at Castleford under Terry Matterson

On the 16th of May 2014, Andy left the assistant coach role at the Salford Red Devils to take up the head coach role at Kingstone Press Championship team Featherstone Rovers.
