Who is Aneesh Varma?

Aneesh Varma is a London-based angel investor. He is the founder of Aire - an initiative to improve credit scoring of consumers who have no existing credit data. He also co-founded FabriQate, an international mobile technology company

Aneesh has campaigned for financial inclusion through his news efforts. He lives in London and was educated at Lehigh University, USA studying Engineering and a second degree in Finance. Aneesh was recognised by the British Council as a Young Entrepreneur 2009 in the Interactive sector and Courvoisier Future 500 People to Watch.

Aneesh's prior experiences have involved the Venture Capital and tech startup industry. He started his first business when 16 and since has been involved in the technology and startup scene. Prior to FabriQate, he started his professional career with JPMorgan in New York working on M&A transactions for Financial Technology industry including leading transactions such as Visa, Synovus, Jaguar-Tata including wide-coverage of the emerging technologies in the mobile payments sector. FabriQate was recognized as an HSBC Startup Star 2008 & 2009, LDA KC Award 2009, British Council YCE in 2009 and CF500 in 2010.
