Countess Anna Maria Komorowska was born in Białogard, Poland. She was the third of six children born to Count Leon Michał Komorowski and his wife, Princess Zofia Sapieha. She has five siblings: Countess Gabriella Maria Komorowska, Countess Roza Maria Komorowska, Count Michał Leon Komorowski, Countess Krystyna Maria Komorowska, and Countess Maria Teresa Komorowska.
