Who is Anne Hegerty?

Anne Hegerty is a British television personality, and former journalist, who is one of the "Chasers" on the ITV game show The Chase, where she is also known as "Frosty Knickers". She is also a freelance editor and academic proof-reader and currently lives in Manchester.

Hegerty has also made an appearance on a number of other quiz shows including Mastermind, 15 to 1, Today's the Day, Are You an Egghead? and Brain of Britain. As of June 2014, Hegerty was ranked 40th in the World Quizzing Championships. In November 2013 she competed in the Bolton Premier Quiz League to become Brain of Bolton for the second time.

In 2005, Hegerty was diagnosed as having Asperger syndrome after occasionally having intense, month-long fascinations with obscure topics, in the process building enormous amounts of knowledge on that topic.
