Who is Antônio Anastasia?
Antônio Augusto Junho Anastasia is a Brazilian lawyer and politician, the current governor of the state of Minas Gerais. Elected vice-governor of Aécio Neves in 2006, Anastasia became governor when Neves resigned to run for the Senate in March 2010. In the Brazilian general election, 2010 on October 3, Anastasia was elected on the PSDB ticket for a full 4-year term as governor, beginning on January 1, 2011.
