Who is Ashot Aristakesovich Sagratyan?
Ashot Aristakesovich Sagratyan is an Armenian and Russian poet, translator and artist. He was awarded the Golden Pushkin medal.
In 1958 Sagratyan finished Yerevan State University, then Moscow Literary Institute after Gorky. He worked as a lecturer of the same institute from 1969 to 1995. He is a member of the Board of the Translators' Union of Russia.
