Who is Bill Hillgrove?

William Thomas Hillgrove is an American sports journalist, sports broadcaster, and radio personality--exclusively in his hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. In early 2024 he retired from his 30 year post as the lead play-by-play broadcaster for the Pittsburgh Steelers football network 102.5 WDVE. Hillgrove continues to call football games for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers and Pitt men's basketball games. He was the 2007 winner of the Chris Schenkel Award, presented by the National Football Foundation, for his work as Pitt's football broadcaster.
