Who is Bob Schrijber?

Bob Schrijber is a Dutch former mixed martial artist and kickboxer. He currently runs his own MMA and Muay Thai team in Wormer, Netherlands called Team Schreiber. His most famous student at the moment is UFC fighter Stefan Struve. He is internationally known as Bob Schreiber because the Dutch vowel 'ij' is very uncommon in other languages. He holds the notable distinction of being the only fighter to lose to Melvin Manhoef by decision, Manhoef's other 23 wins come by KO/TKO. Schrijber is best known for his dirty fighting tactics, most notably his fight with Daijiro Matsui in which he committed numerous fouls including kicking the back of the head of a grounded Matsui after the bell, resulting in a disqualification.
