Who was Bobby Kirk?
Robert "Bobby" Kirk was a Scottish footballer best known for playing for Heart of Midlothian throughout the 1950s, he made 213 league appearances and scored eight goals. He also played for Dunfermline Athletic and Raith Rovers.
While at Hearts, Kirk won two Scottish league titles, the Scottish Cup in 1955–56, and the Scottish League Cup in 1958–59 and 1959–60.
Kirk died from dementia in Midlothian on 1 February 2010.
