Who was Brad Peters?

Brad Peters was the original screen name used by Jeffrey Garrison Woodward, an actor in gay pornographic film actor. He later also used the screen name David Ryce.

Peters was born in San Francisco, but soon after his birth his family moved to Hawaii, where he grew up. He graduated with honors from Punahoe High School in 1976.

Following high school graduation, Peters enlisted in the U.S. Marines and was stationed at Kanahoe Marine Corps Air Station for eight years. He enrolled in the University of Hawaii and earned a degree in business management computer operations while serving in the military. He had achieved the rank of Master Sergeant when he was honorably discharged from the Marines in 1985.

Peters first modeling assignment was for the Marines, appearing in recruitment posters.

His acting career began in 1981, when he was on furlough in Los Angeles. Peters answered an ad in a gay magazine and was cast in Brothers Should Do It. During return visits to Southern California on subsequent furloughs, Peters filmed These Bases Are Loaded, Longhorn Cowboys, Main Attraction, Man Oh Man, Bait and Squirts #1: Aftershot.

Peters moved to Southern California after leaving the Marines and worked in various jobs, including office manager at an insurance agency and deliveryman for a mail delivery service. His last non-pornography-related job was with a computer database management company.
