Who is Bren Simmers?
Bren Simmers is a Canadian poet. Her debut collection of poetry, Night Gears, was released by Wolsak and Wynn in October 2010.
Born in Vancouver, she studied writing at the University of Victoria and has a master of fine arts in creative writing from the University of British Columbia. She is a past winner of the Arc Poem of the Year Award and has been shortlisted for the Bronwen Wallace Memorial Award, and her poetry has been published in journals across Canada.
