Who is BTDtrippyjoe?

Peyton Thomas Ingles (born March 1, 2007), better known as BTDtrippyjoe, is an emerging hip-hop artist originating from Covington, Louisiana. Since 2017, Ingles has continued to stun the music industry as he shows off his musical abilities. Today he is recognized as a trailblazer of Underground hip hop.

Joe rose to fame with the 2021 Album "King Pin", which went viral on Spotify and gained 200,000+ streams in the first week. Joe’s debut studio album, Love The Game (2021), gained 100,000+ total streams since its release. His second studio album, Rookie Of The Year (2022), gained 150,000+ on release day and included the song "Bonnie nd Clyde", which would go on to be his most streamed track ever, gaining 82,000+ total streams. His third album, Perfect Storm is set to debut on March 1, 2023.

Career

Joe's career began in 2018, with the release of his single South Pike State Of Mind. He released several mixtapes before signing with GBG Entertainment. On November 1, 2021, he released his mixtape King Pin, which included the song "My Mind". The song went viral on YouTube and Spotify, with well over 200,000 streams across all platforms. Joe’s debut studio album, Love The Game, was released on April 1, 2021.

Joe's second studio album, Rookie Of The Year (2022), was released on August 10, 2022. It debuted with over 150,000 streams. In September 2022, Joe revealed during an Instagram live video that he was working on his third album, which was originally scheduled for December 1, 2022. He revealed the cover art for his album Perfect Storm on September 19, 2022. It is now set to be released on March 1, 2023. In late 2022, Joe garnered some controversy with the release of the song "The Last Goodbye", which many regarded as a suicide letter, which hasn't been confirmed by joe yet.

In September 2022, Joe released the single "They Hate Me". On May 1, 2022, he released a freestyle called “Catch Ah 4”, in which he revealed his next album would be titled Perfect Storm, while also announcing that he had plans to complete the album by February 2023. The album is set to be released on March 1, 2023. Since the album was announced by BTDtrippyjoe his fans and supporters have been hyping up his upcoming project and it has become his most anticipated project yet.

Joe has been recognized for his "candor and shrewd ability to switch between flows, genres, and styles of music". Sunset Music Reviews’s Joe Vivona noted that "you switch it up a lot and there are some parts of your cadence in your music that I haven't heard yet, which is not something I can say often".
