Who is Burcu Dolunay?
Burcu Dolunay is a Turkish female swimmer competing in the freestyle events. The 1.74 m tall sportswoman at 63 kg is a member of Galatasaray Swimming team since 2006. She studied at Istanbul University. Dolunay is holder of several national records in freestyle.
She was qualified to participate in the 50 m freestyle event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. At the 2013 Mediterranean Games held in Mersin, Turkey, she won two bronze medals in the 50 m freestyle and 4×100 m freestyle relay events.
