Who was Charles Lauda?

Charles Lauda was a passenger onboard American Airlines flight 383. He was killed in the crash of November 8,1965. Mr. Lauda was arriving in Cincinnati to record the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra at Music Hall for Decca Records.
