Who is Colin Carpenter?
Colin Carpenter is a Postdoctoral Research fellow, Radiation Oncology at Stanford University. Dr. Carpenter grew up a New Englander, and completed a Ph.D. at Dartmouth in June 2009. His thesis developed new methods to merge diffuse optical imaging and magnetic resonance imaging to study the hemodynamics of breast cancer for screening and treatment monitoring applications. His current research with Dr. Xing focuses on combined x-ray/optical molecular imaging of targeted nanoparticles. Colin likes to hike, fish, kayak, bike, and ski in his time away from the lab.
