Who is Colin Clarke?
Colin Clarke is an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s and '70s, and coach of the 1980s playing at representative level for Great Britain, and at club level for Wigan, Salford and Leigh, as a Hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums, and at club level has coached for Wigan. Clarke was part of Wigan's 1965 Challenge Cup final win over Hunslet at Wembley, Wigan won 20-16. Clarke also won the Lancashire Cup three times with his hometown club.
