Who is Colonel Stone Johnson?

Colonel Stone Johnson was an [[African-American Civil Rights Movement |American civil rights]] activist born in Lowndes County, to Fannie and Colonel Johnson. He got involved in civil rights movements in the mid 1950s. He started a civil rights movement called the Civil Rights Guards that supported homes and business supporting their movement. He was best known for having helped to carry a Ku Klux Klan bomb away from Bethel Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL.
