Who is Conroy Sun?
Conroy Sun is a Postdoctoral Research fellow, Radiation Oncology at Stanford University. Dr. Sun received his Ph.D. in Materials Science Engineering (Nanotechnology) from the University of Washington in 2008. During his graduate studies in Prof. Miqin Zhang’s biomaterials lab, Dr. Sun investigated the synthesis and surface modification of superparamagnetic nanoparticles for applications in cancer diagnosis and treatment. After the work as a senior fellow in the UW Department of Neurological Surgery under Dr. Richard Ellenbogen, Dr. Liu joined the Xing lab in 2009 to investigate targeted X-ray/optical nanoparticles for molecular imaging.
