Who is Constantia Petrou?
Dr. Petrou Combines experience from several angles of the healthcare industry. Before starting Culmini, she held positions in neuroscience strategy at Eli Lilly and Company, and at The Boston Consulting Group European healthcare practice. She was also a scientist at Stanford Medical School. Her work spanned the discovery of new genes and proteins, the collection of evidence for the effectiveness of drugs in new patient populations and the coordination of physician thought leaders to test new treatments. Motivated by the desire to bridge the gap between experts and patients, Dr. Petrou is also involved with the establishment of patient organizations (such as the American Association of Kidney Patients, Bay Area chapter). She has a doctorate in Molecular Toxicology from the Harvard School of Public Health and an MBA from Stanford.
