Who was Cornelis Vermeulen?
Cornelis Martinus Vermeulen was a Flemish Baroque engraver.
According to the RKD he made prints after Adriaen van der Werff, and in Paris he made prints after Pierre Mignard, Hyacinthe Rigaud and others. He is not to be confused with Cornelis van der Meulen. He taught his son Andries Vermeulen, who also became an artist.
