Who was Crown Prince Hyomyeong?
Crown prince Hyomyeong was a Prince of the Joseon Dynastys, the son of the 23rd King Sunjo, father of Heonjong, 24th King of the Joseon Dynasty. His name was Yi Yeong.
In 1817 he was admitted to Sungkyunkwan. In 1819, his title was Crown Prince of Joseon. In 1827 he was Regent ruler, but after three years died aged 21.
