Daniel Muzyka

Who is Daniel Muzyka?

Dr. Daniel F. Muzyka is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Conference Board of Canada, the RBC Financial Group Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of British Columbia's Sauder School of Business and Vice Chair and a public director of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada.

He was previously the Dean at the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Management at UBC Okanagan. Prior to joining Sauder, Dr. Muzyka was the IAF Professor of Entrepreneurship at INSEAD in France and also served as Associate Dean of the MBA program there.

Dr. Muzyka has previous experience in finance and corporate strategy at the General Electric Company, and spent five years as a strategy consultant, primarily with Braxton Associates in Boston.

Dr. Muzyka has served on the advisory boards of Siemens and Chrysalix. He previously chaired the Vancouver Board of Trade, a non-profit organization which seeks to "promote, enhance and facilitate the development of the region as a Pacific centre for trade, commerce and travel."
