Who is Darius Lahoutifard?

Darius Lahoutifard is CEO of Altadyn Corp. and non-executive Chairman of 01consulting. He is a serial entrepreneur in high tech industry with extensive management experience introducing and developing innovative concepts into the mainstream markets. A French citizen, he holds a M.Sc. degree in Robotics Engineering from École Centrale Paris.

After his studies, he entered Schulmberger CAD/CAM division Schlumberger in 1985, as an Application Engineer. he later moved to sales and sales management, and was appointed CEO of Applicon, a Schlumberger company, with a turn-over of $10M in 1990, at age of 28. Applicon was later acquired by UGS, now being Siemens PLM Software . In 1992 he joined Parametric Technology Corporation as Country Manager, France, Belgium, Switzerland, where he developed the business of this at-the-time US startup in Europe, growing his country’s revenue from $4M in 1992 to $27M in 1995.

Darius is also a serial entrepreneur. He co-founded several startups, raised more than $17M for these companies that he usually served as CEO. Among them, Genifer SA, got acquired by Saqqara Systems Inc. of Sunnyvale, CA in 1998, PTC France has become a $150M business unit of PTC, 01consulting and Altadyn are growth companies.
