Who is Dave Cooke?
Dave Cooke is the founder of charities Operation Christmas Child and Teams4U.
Cooke was born in Chester, Wales in the 1950s, and is married to Gill Cooke, with whom he has had four children. He currently resides in Wrexham, North Wales.
After leaving school, Cooke trained to be a carpenter and pursued a number of related ventures, including a successful double-glazing firm. In 1990 Cooke founded Operation Christmas Child with friends.
In 2007 Cooke founded Teams4U, a charity that gives advice and aid to others taking on community projects in eastern Europe and Africa.
