Who is David Noble?

David Noble is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy in the Australian Football League.

Noble was a premiership player at North Hobart in both 1987 and 1989, as vice captain. Fitzroy picked him up with the 111th pick of the 1989 VFL Draft and he was fortunate enough to make his league debut on his home ground, the North Hobart Oval. It was however a poor day to debut, as Hawthorn assessed 231 points, at the time the third highest in VFL/AFL history. Noble had 18 disposals and 12 the following round when he appeared in a more respectable loss to North Melbourne at the MCG.

He is currently as assistant coach under Brenton Sanderson at Adelaide. Previously, Noble was an assistant at the Western Bulldogs, for five years, before occupying the senior coaching position at Glenelg in 2003 and 2004.
