Who is David T. Killion?

Ambassador David T. Killion is an American government official and diplomat, appointed in 2009 by President Barack Obama to serve as the United States Permanent Representative to UNESCO, with the rank of Ambassador. He left that office in December 2013. On 10 April 2014, U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Roger Wicker announced Ambassador Killion's joint appointment as the Senate Staff Director for the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe.
