Who is Dhanashree Halbe?

Dhanashree Halbe is a well-known Marathi writer. She is also translator, poet and a writer for children's stories. She has written more than 15 books, hundreds of short stories and articles for various age groups. She has translated 10 books from Malayalam to Marathi. She has also contributed to the "Encyclopedia on Women's Literature in Indian Languages" and "Encyclopedia on Theatre". She won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2000 for the translated novel Awespchi Mule.
