Who is DJ Mustard?

Dijon McFarlane, professionally known as DJ Mustard, is an American record producer and DJ from Los Angeles, California. He is most best known for being rapper YG's DJ, along with producing the hit singles Tyga's "Rack City", 2 Chainz' "I'm Different", YG's "My Nigga", Kid Ink's "Show Me", and Ty Dolla Sign's "Paranoid". He has an up-tempo, club oriented, catchy yet rudimentary melodic hip hop production style. This style has snowballed into a subgenre of West coast hip hop, which he calls "Ratchet music". His producer tag at the beginning of most tracks he produced is "Mustard on the beat, ho!". It is a sample of YG saying it at the end of one of his early singles "I'm Good".
