Who is Dougie Hamilton?
Dougie Jonathan Hamilton is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League. He was selected ninth overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft. He was raised in Toronto, Ontario.
His parents Doug and Lynn were both members of Team Canada for the 1984 Summer Olympics. His brother Freddie is a 2010 San Jose Sharks draft pick. Freddie, like Dougie, has played for the Niagara IceDogs.
