Who is Dr. K Hari Prasad?

Dr Hari Prasad Kovelamudi, M.D, MBBS, is an anaesthetist and the CEO for Central Region of the first corporate chain of hospitals in India, the Apollo Hospitals Group, overseeing the group's operations in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, Muscat and Africa.

Prasad is the first doctor outside Europe to be honoured with a fellowship of the College of Emergency Medicine, UK and the first in India to receive a fellowship of the International Federation for Emergency Medicine. He is also the course director for paramedic training program in collaboration with Stanford University, USA, Emergency Medicine Programs with the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK and College of Emergency Medicine, UK. He is also on the board of directors of the Apollo Institute of hospital Administration. He was the founder President of Society for Emergency Medicine and is a member of Indian Society of Anesthesiology and Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine.
